Princess wigs for children battling Cancer

We have just come across the most wonderful initiative and could not wait to share it with you. The Magic Yarn Project creates soft yarn princess wigs which put a big smile on the face of children fighting cancer. Their wigs are 100% made by volunteers and 100% funded by donations of yarn and money.  

It all started when Holly Christensen, an Oncology nurse, heard the news about a friend's daughter who had been diagnosed with cancer. In order to make things a little easier for the little girl, Holly gave her a Rapunzel yarn wig. Holly then started to created more wigs for other children and soon this small initiative turned into a worldwide project! These wigs now make children around the world feel like true princesses!
